Alison Cole – Trustee

Alison Cole started attending All Souls Unitarian Church in January 2017 and became a member in May ofthe same year.  She joined several All Souls members in New Orleans that June to participate in the UU General Assembly and was exposed to the broad principles and current movements the UU Association and local members are participating in.  Alison attended the next General Assembly held in Kansas City where she deepened her understanding the UU community. Alison participated in the Diversity and Inclusion Team and its program in 2017 and 2018.  In January 2019, Alison joined the Leadership and Nomination Committee and served as its chair for the next two years. 

Other non-profit boards Alison has served on over her 30+ year career include Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis (Board President), founding board member of the Coalition for Homeless Intervention and Prevention (CHIP), Dayspring Center (Secretary), Community  Development Law Center, Local Initiative Support Corporation’s Advisory Board and Freewheelin’ Community Bikes (Secretary/Vice President).
