I have been a member of All Souls for about six years.  I was initially and intensely attracted to the congregational covenant with its twin messages of love and service.

My late husband and I settled in Indianapolis nearly 35 years ago after living in a variety of Midwest locations.  Originally trained as an occupational therapist; I spent the last 30 years of my career as an elementary school teacher in Lawrence Township.

I am involved as a coordinator with our church’s commitment to the Interfaith Hospitality Network.  I am a member of the Hospitality Committee and the Caring Committee.  I participated in the Beloved Community workshops and hope to bring all that I learned in that space to my role as an at-large board member.

I share my home with a shy, sweet Labrador Retriever named Cullen.  We particularly enjoy walking in Richey Woods near home.  I do volunteer tutoring with School on Wheels.  And give time to Central Indiana Labrador Rescue and Adoption, doing adoption home visits and transporting dogs to and from foster homes.   I enjoy reading (especially mysteries), travel, and knitting.  Raised in Detroit, I am an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers.

My two children, Christine and Kevin, have thoughtfully provided me with six beautiful and accomplished grandchildren.
