Small Group Ministry
Small groups give you the opportunity to get to truly get to know others in the congregation; and time to reconnect with yourself, too.
Open to members and friends alike. If Sunday morning worship isn’t your style, but you’re be interested in participating in small groups, drop Rev. Kayla Parker a line.
We have two different types of small groups here at All Souls:
Chalice Circles: Ten individuals who come together to reflect on and make meaning of our life experiences. These groups are a space for all to deeply listen and truly be heard.
Groups meet from Fall-Summer, and are re-formed every year. We are currently using the book Heart to Heart to guide us in this work, with its weighty topics, relevant readings and thought-provoking activities.
Affinity Groups: Individuals who come together around a shared identity or interest. Some groups have been meeting for years, some have just recently formed.
Groups include: Brunch Brothers, Soul Sisters, Young Adults, Humanists, New Age Spirituality, Memoirs, UU Buddhists and Goddess Group.
Wanting to learn more about ways to get to know others, in authentic, real ways? For more information on any of these groups, contact Rev. Kayla Parker.
