Coffee Hour Hospitality
Would you like to help run coffee hour after a Sunday service? You could be an individual who’s willing to help, or a church committee, or even a family group who’d like to host. We have detailed instructions on what needs to be done, so no prior experience is necessary. Please talk to Judy if you need more information, or sign-up on the church Sign-Up Genius link below.
Greeters and Guides
Greeters are volunteers who give a warm welcome to all souls at All Souls Indy! Our greetings should be inclusive, but not intrusive. Our intention is to give people a positive welcoming experience when attending All Souls. We are looking for warm, friendly, respectful volunteers to greet people at our front door before and after our services.
For more information, please contact Ollie Howe via office@allsoulsindy.org

Audio Visual Team
On Sunday morning our services are live-streamed on YouTube. The small team of audio-visual experts need volunteers to help with the sound equipment, the camera, and the technical elements of the service on any given Sunday. No prior experience or knowledge is necessary – all are welcome to learn something new and be an extra set of hands in the balcony on a Sunday morning.
For more information, please contact Liz at lizmusic@allsoulsindy.org
Sunday Flowers
Would you like to sponsor flowers in the Sanctuary in honor of a loved one or special event – or just to see additional beauty during the service? Flowers may be sponsored any Sunday for $85 with a note included in the Order of Celebration stating for whom, or what event, the flowers are in honor of. Payment can be made online or directly to ASUC for “Sanctuary Flowers”. Sign-up must be made by the Thursday prior to the requested Sunday. This is a fundraising effort to bring beauty and a few extra dollars to All Souls. Please sign-up on the church Sign-Up Genius below. Thank you in advance for your gift of flowers!

Social Justice Opportunities
Here are some social justice initiatives you could help with:
- Food Pantry
- Mutual Aid Over Everything: Provides mutual aid to unhoused folks in Indianapolis.
- Little Library & Naloxone Box (includes narcan and fentanyl test strips): In front of the church is a little lending library for folks to leave books and take books. The Naloxone Box is part of the library and includes supplies provided by Overdose Lifeline: https://www.overdoselifeline.org/
Green Team
The All Souls Green Team meets on the second Sunday of each month after coffee hour around 11:30 for about 30-45 minutes. The focus of the Green Team for this year is “Education in order to take Action” both as a church community and individually in our personal lives. Topics include reuse, repurpose and recycle plastics, using laundry sheets, native plants and solar energy to name a few.

Butterfly Garden Group
The Butterfly Garden lives outside the Atrium windows and was started in 2010. All of the plants are native perennials and suitable for wetter soils. The native plants that were chosen were selected based on the native butterflies we have in this area, and the larval food plants that each of these butterfly species prefer. In effect, the garden was planned in reverse, with the native butterflies determining the larval plants that went into the garden. All the booming plants provide nectar for all of the mature butterflies
Faith Formation
At All Souls, faith formation happens across the generations with lifelong learning and multigenerational involvement. There are many ways to be involved and support this ministry. Serve on one of the teams that develops and oversees programs for children, youth and adults: The Children and Youth team or the Adult Faith Formation Team. Help in the nursery on Sunday mornings. Teach, co-lead, or assist in a Sunday class with children ages 4-12. Meet with older youth to plan projects and activities. Share a skill, talent or passion you have with the children. Help host a meal for our families. Organize service projects for our children and youth. Help at our Fall or Spring Fests.
Lead or co-lead a chalice circle or book discussion group. Join the Labyrinth Circle. Lead a class. Present at an Adult Forum. Assist Teams and Staff with creating newsletters and other digital communications. Work in the gardens or help keep the library organized.
If you’re interested in helping, please contact Nancy Olson, our Director of Congregational Life, Faith Formation, at faithformation@allsoulsindy.org.
